Overview: TeamApp is a free app supported through the inclusion of in-App advertising. For a small annual fee users can individually (optionally) elect to remove the presence of that advertising content.

Steps for Advertising Removal

It is recommended that you read through this guide in its entirety before commencing.

Note: Screen images in this guide are representative only.

Step 1 - Open TeamApp

Firstly open TeamApp on your SmartPhone or Tablet.

Note:It is also possible to remove Ads by logging into your TeamApp account using a Web browser, rather than the app. The steps involved are almost identical to those presented within this guide.

Step 2 - TeamApp home screen

The team app home screen is the one that usually appears when the app is first opened. Select Settings at bottom right of the screen. Proceed directly to Step 3.

If a team is currently selected (eg "Bei Loon DBC inc" or "Bei Loon Pinks") you will see something like the following, and will first need to return to the Team App home screen by selecting the back arrow < at top left. ( Do not select on the team screen, it relates to your team/club settings and not the App advertising settings).

Step 3 - Settings, Advertising preferences

Once on the settings Page, in the Preferences section select "Advertising".

Step 4 - Enable subscription

If you feel that the displayed subscription fee is acceptable, select it then authorise the payment. The transaction example displayed here is for an Apple iPhone, but should be similar for other devices.

Note: This subcription automatically renews annually unless you cancel first. Removal of the App alone may not cancel the subscription.

Step 5 - Subscription Active

If payment completes, you will recieve an on-screen confirmation message. Click OK to acknowledge.

Your subscription can be managed at any time in the future from this screen.

The transaction will fail if your device settings do not allow "In-App purchases". You may need to temporarily allow this to complete the transaction.

NOTE:As the process to enable In-App purchases varies from device to device and operating system type and version, it is not practical to give instructions on how to do so here. Please do a web search if assistance is needed.

Step 6 - Enjoy TeamApp Ad free

TeamApp can now be used without the presence of advertising material. If advertising material is still present immediately after enabling the Ad free Subscription:

Wait a short while and existing material should dissapear,
Exit the TeamApp and then re-open it, OR
Clear the TeamApp app cache. Below "Advertising" on the Settings screen is a "Clear Cache" option, select it and confirm.
