8km Scotland Island Race, 2026

A big thank you to the 26 clubs that attended this year

50% of the crews travelled from outside Sydney, including paddlers from Wagga, Orange, Bathurst and the south coast!  Two Canberra Crews and another ACT club were represented.

An invitation to all Dragon Boat Clubs

Race will be held on Saturday 7th March 2026

Now in its 13th year, we were thrilled to share our beautiful waterway with a record 31 individual clubs in 2025.  Some clubs form combined teams, whilst others may enter more than one crew.

So speak with your club committee & coaches now* about putting a 2026 team together, we would all love to see you here for what promises to be another amazing event!

*Registration closes Monday 9th February 2026.

  • DBNSW sanctioned event
  • Race 8km (actually ~9.6km   ) on beautiful Pittwater at Sydney’s northern beaches
  • ‘Champion’ boats will be used by all crews
  • Great training hit-out and team building activity before the State Championships
